DANE — Encuesta de Carga Financiera y Educación Financiera de los Hogares (IEFIC) 2017–2018
This source is useful enough to browse, but it is not used to calculate a personal WORTH99 percentile. The limitation is shown explicitly below instead of hiding the source.
Period2017–18
ReferenceHousehold / financially served urban three-city universe
Data typeRich household survey candidate
UseStrong restricted-universe balance-sheet context
WHAT IT SHOWS
What you can learn from it
A large weighted household-finance survey with current housing, other-real-estate and business values, financial-asset balances, voluntary-pension balances and multiple outstanding debt balances for its defined Bogotá, Medellín and Cali survey universe.
WHY NO PERSONAL RANK?
Why it stays Explore-only
IEFIC is not a national all-household sample: its expansion factor represents financially served urban households in Bogotá, Medellín and Cali. That reference-population mismatch cannot be repaired by weighting, so WORTH99 does not present it as a Colombia national percentile curve.

RIGHTS / SOURCE NOTE
How WORTH99 uses it
DANE public-use data are available with attribution, but rights do not cure the survey-universe mismatch. Explore preserves the defined reference population instead of generalizing it to all Colombian households.
PRODUCT BOUNDARY
Browseable does not mean rankable.
WORTH99 keeps useful wealth evidence visible even when the source cannot support a defensible personal percentile. This page does not invent missing assets, liabilities, household distributions or percentile thresholds.
