Ethiopia Socio-Economic Panel Survey 2021–2022 (ESPS Wave 5)

This source is useful enough to browse, but it is not used to calculate a personal WORTH99 percentile. The limitation is shown explicitly below instead of hiding the source.

WHAT IT SHOWS

What you can learn from it

Newer official household survey context covering physical and financial assets, housing, nonfarm enterprises, agriculture and livestock, credit, household weights and related financial-inclusion evidence within the restricted Wave 5 survey geography.

WHY NO PERSONAL RANK?

Why it stays Explore-only

The audited Wave 5 source does not establish a complete contemporaneous current-liability stock, and its survey universe excludes Tigray with reduced coverage in parts of Afar, Amhara and Oromia. WORTH99 therefore does not generalize it into a national household net-worth percentile or use it to replace the broader ESS4 context.

RIGHTS / SOURCE NOTE

How WORTH99 uses it

The World Bank catalog classifies the files as public use subject to registration and terms, while general Public Use File terms restrict redistribution or sale and do not affirmatively clear commercial microdata-derived statistics. WORTH99 exposes source metadata and module scope only, does not host or redistribute the ESPS microdata, and publishes no weighted microdata-derived production facts under this source.

PRODUCT BOUNDARY

Browseable does not mean rankable.

WORTH99 keeps useful wealth evidence visible even when the source cannot support a defensible personal percentile. This page does not invent missing assets, liabilities, household distributions or percentile thresholds.
